The dual View cameras from Samsung has proven a hit since the series was launched around two years ago. It continues to be some of the most popular products Samsung has made. These cameras provided the best way to frame self-portrait, especially for the social networking sites. At the IFA 2011, Samsung unveiled its all new Dual View shooting device, MV800-a MultiView camera with a 3.0 Flip-Out AMOLED touch screen display. The unique digital camera with its flip-out LCD and other exciting features is capable of capturing shots at extreme low and high angles.

What’s new
MV800 is the world’s first compact camera to feature a flip-up screen to capture images from unusual angles. This is the top USP of the camera. One more benefit of the folding display is that when it is slightly extended, acts as a prop to support the camera on a tabletop.
What’s been refreshed
Like the other double-view offerings from Samsung, MV800 also features the touch-sensitive screen, but this is more responsive and accurate. With the use of Smart Touch 3.0 interface, MV800 gets far closer to a smartphone than any other Samsung cameras has ever managed.
Features walkthrough
The 16MP camera comes with an innovative LCD hinged on the top that allows you to take pictures with ease. The 92 x 56.2 x 18.3 mm (3.6" x 2.2" x 0.72") unit features a 5x optical zoom lens, 26mm wide-angle lens, metal body, App style GUI (like latest smartphones), Dual IS (Digital + Optical), 1280x720 HD video recording at 30fps and an additional rear shutter button when the display is facing forward. It also features zoom noise reduction that suppresses the zoom noise captured by the microphone while filming.
The 3.0 Flip-Out display allows you to take pictures from any angle. Adjust the display from 0 to 180 degree and you can make any shot possible. Smart touch 3.0 is embedded in the display through which a user can drag and launch the icons of their choice with a single touch.
The Live Panorama mode of the camera allows you to take pictures of a group just by holding the shutter button and moving the camera. Dual Image stabilization eliminates the camera shake, so the images will be sharp and crisp even if you shoot on the move.
Other key features:
The camera offers best picture quality, innovative touch screen technology and many other user-friendly features that allow the user to enjoy the shooting experience. A person using the camera can be confident that he/she can capture the most challenging shots whether they are in front or back of the camera.
What’s not so good
The only thing that can be a problem is the Panorama mode, because there are many cameras that offer the same facility but the users’ ends up shooting pictures with a strange looking cut off heads.
Price and availability
The camera will be available in UK in mid-September with a price tag of £279.
Wrap up
With the Transformers like look and design, the camera has many exciting features like the 16 MP CCD sensor, 5x optical zoom, etc. In addition, if we trust the features and specifications, this product can change the camera market just like the Double View camera did that around two years ago.
