You’ll pretty soon be slurping and then squirting digital content (music, videos, movies, etc.) between machines in a network or a variety of digital objects. Named aptly as Slurp, it is a tangible interface for sharing digital information which is intangible in nature. Simply put, Slurp will eliminate the need for any USB drives or Bluetooth interface to make a file transfer from one machine to the other. Developed by Jamie Zigelbaum (former student at MIT Media Lab), Adam Kumpf, Alejandro Vazquez, and Hiroshi Ishii in the Tangible Media Group; Slurp is probably one of the most interesting technology that I have seen in a long time for digital content sharing. Video after the jump explains it all, so don’t miss it.
