PrePeat printer erases docs and rewrites one sheet 1,000 times [w/Video]
Because tons and tons of paper is wasted around the world, Japanese engineers have worked out a printer solution to help curb the issue. For this, the creative lads have worked up the inkless PrePeat printer with a special thermal head, which erases old documents and rewrites special pages. Priced at about $5,517 (500,000 yen), accompanied by special PET plastic sheets that cost about $3,300 per 1000 sheets, the printer is an appealing introduction for all big companies that use a lot of paper. The PrePeat isn't a best solution for the smaller business, given the price, but is perfect for all who don't mind the price and are satisfied with the printer's amazing capability of erasing document and reusing heat-sensitive plastic sheets to print up to 1,000 times per page.
