Yuri Suzuki, a Japanese product designer has showcased his talents at RCA and one must say, he really is very talented. A student at the Royal College of Art, he has conceptualized some really innovative products. One of the best was the Prepared Turntable, which is analogue and has 5 tone arms which can have their volumes controlled by their own faders. Then there is the Finger Player, which is a wearable record player. You can feel the sound physically by placing your hand over the disk. If you want to try something more innovative, the Sound Jewelry that can be worn as bracelets, brooches, etc and they can play recorded music, laughter, conversation etc. The Sound Chaser, which looks like a train, literally plays your ‘tracks’ on record rails.
