Pre-crime predicts future crimes and its perpetrators in advance

Richard Berk, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania has developed the pre-crime software, which out of all things can predict crimes to be committed and can also figure out who will commit them before they actually happen. The software which previously only predicted murders by and among parolees and offenders on probation was being used by law enforcement agencies in Baltimore and Philadelphia, now with this advancement of predicting future crimes and the perpetrators it could find way into law enforcement agencies in Washington D.C. Berk’s software sits through a database of thousands of crimes and using different variables like geographical location, criminal records, his age and with the help of some algorithms, can predict the possibilities of where, when, and how a crime could possibly be committed and by who. These predictions by the program are only possibilities not direct evidences, yet they have a very large role to play in avoiding crimes.
