PowerKiss is a wireless iPhone and iPod charger designed by a start-up Powerkiss, in Finland. PowerKiss has two parts - a Ring and a Heart. This “heart and ring” combination results in a wire free charging mechanism. How it works

The Heart is the transmitter and the Ring is the receiver. The heart has an electric field surrounding it. While charging, the ring has to be connected to the device and the heart can be placed anywhere - on a table or furniture. When the handheld device with the ring is brought within the electric field of the heart, it starts charging. While charging, the light on the ring turns red, and when charging is complete, it turns white.

The rings are available with different types of ends suitable for the ports found in different types of handheld devices. You can get the compatible rings for your iPod, MP3 players or even laptops. In future, the ring may come built in, in the device, the company claims.
