Besides Amazon the other manufacturers haven’t taken the e-book reader trade all that seriously, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with Pocketbook. Judging by the five new e-book reads the company has launched, we guess Pocketbook is still confident about the e-book market having something in store. To be released at the IFA 2010, Pocketbook Pro 602, Pro 603, Pro 902 and Pro 903 each run Linux and have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. While the 60x designated model sport 6-inch display the 90x model will get 9.7-inch display.

Other than this Pocketbook will also debut the 7-inch touchscreen Pocketbook IQ, which would run Android 2.0 and use color e-paper for display, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It is believed that the Pro 603 and Pro 903 have integrated 3G modems and Wacom touchscreens. All the models will have 2GB of integrated memory with wireless access to the Bookland ebook store.
