The Evatran’s Plugless Power Station system works by attaching a shoebox size adapter to the car and another block to the parking space with control tower. When the car is brought close to the fixed parking block, an electrical current flowing into the parking block from the power grid is transferred wirelessly to the adaptor in the car, thus charging the battery of the car.

The electric charger is thought to be 90% effective, but we can still pass it because it’s only early days for Evatran’s kid. It’s reported that the first version of the Plugless Power would use cord and will be released in December for $3,000 price tag, while a wireless version of the charger will be made available in April next year for another $800 upgrade.
