PlayStation Phone misses CES but gets a detailed preview in China

The PlayStation Phone has been in hype all the while since we’ve first known of it, the whole saga has been blown out of proportion with numerous rumors and hands-on videos etc., showing the phone’s abilities in caparison with the best Android phones out there. Continuing the tale, we have an extensive PlayStation Phone preview by IT168, a Chinese website that reveals that this phone will be released under the Xperia brand named and will be accompanied by a new game launcher dubbed the PlayStation Pocket. Besides, we learn that the PlayStation Phone will feature a 4-inch 854 x 480 resolution screen, 5MP camera, microSD slot, micro USB port and would be stuffed in with a Qualcomm Andreno 201 GPU and would be powered by a 1Ghz Snapdragon QSD8255 processor.

No mention on the games that the Phone would be accompanied with and the price too remains a mystery. Sony was expected to announce the PlayStation Phone at CES 2011 but there was no mention and now all eyes are sent for the Game Developers Conference 2011, beginning February 28 in San Francisco, where the world could get the first sight of the phone.
