Freakin’ things happen in the crazy world of robotics. I have spent years trying to sort myself into playing the game of pool, but I am still nowhere close to be called a player. And now take a look at the video below, first time we’ve seen this fellow, Deep Green as it calls itself, and the bugger’s already a pro in the game. The pool playing robot is a brainchild of the Vision lab in Queens University, and is good to beat the best in the game. At least the vid is made to prove it. What, they are adding it with the laser technology? Who’s gonna beat it then?
