Dell took a noticeable lead in the game announcing that its 1525 now features a Blu-ray player and HDMI out starting at $879 making it a very reasonable notebook choice if you already own a HDTV. Developed on Broadcom Media PC technology, the 1525 allows the system to play Blu-Ray titles while using integrated graphics and built-in accelerator located in a mini-card slot enables playback. Available in three exciting colors including yellow, red and blue, we expect to see the 1525 giving its non-Blu-ray competitors a good run for their monies for a while to come.
