With HD DVD losing the format wars, there is ever-growing competition to get out the most vital stuff integrated with Blu-ray. We hadn’t heard from Pioneer for a while – perhaps they were busy digging LX01BD – a Home Cinema System stuffed with a Blu-ray player.

Pioneer’s Home Cinema draws attention to its Blu-ray player, which guarantees to enhance the home cinema experience. Bragging of a 400w processing unit, and a 5.1 channel amplifier, the profile 1.1 player offers 1080p of resolution with Dolby Digital and Dolby TrueHD surround sound. LX01BD also houses BonusView enhancement, along with HDMI Deep Color support and two HDMI connections.

Designed specifically for Pioneer’s KURO TV range, it features a KURO link which helps you operate the system through a TV’s remote control. There is no word on the price and availability of the LX01BD system, which is gearing to hit your homes to boost up the home entertainment setup.
