Pioneer unveils 52” Multitouch interactive discussion table in Japan

Pioneer, a multinational corporation is engaged in digital entertainment products. It is well known for its advanced technologies and software in the consumer electronics industry. The company has recently unveiled a 52 inches Multitouch interactive discussion table, dubbed as the WWS-DT101. This table takes its inspiration from the Microsoft Surface concept. It resembles a flat screen TV rested on a stand.

WWS-DT101 is a Full HD 52 inches TV based on multitouch technology. This tool is supported by Windows 764Bit and runs on an Intel Core i7 CPU with 6GB of RAM. The main feature of touch screen table is that it helps in manipulating the data with the touch of fingers. The users can even share the documents to anyone wirelessly to or from any connected devices such as PCs, iPhones, iPads using Transfer Jet technology. Transferring or sharing of any large amount of data can be done through USB ports built into the table.

The WWS-DT101’s another special feature is a PFU Scan Snap S1100 Scanner. This scanner allows scanning any documents and displaying them directly on its magnificent 52” screen. This interactive discussion table can also be used for teleconferences and other business purposes. The engineers of pioneer are expected to bring this exclusive master piece into the market in the mid of 2011 in Japan.
