The world’s largest plasma screen manufacturers Pioneer have announced that they will no longer be making displays smaller than 50-inches after March 2009. The firm has revealed plans to stop production of its 42-inch plasma TVs as it now wants to focus solely on the bigger screen market. The company also plans to buy the 42-inch screens from Panasonic or Hitachi to make up for deficiency in supply for the smaller display.
