Chinavision has been making waves for it’s innovative products ranging from multimedia watches to wristwatch mobile phones. Now they are all set to storm the console gaming segment with their add-ons for the Sony PS3 and the Nintendo Wii. The add-ons we are talking about are LCD screens which can be retrofitted onto the gaming consoles. These LCD screens come in screen sizes of 7 inches each and also have integrated speakers. They can be retrofitted onto existing PS3 and Wii consoles and once the retrofitting is done, these LCD screens will sit atop the consoles in a flip-flop design, very similar to notebook computers.
With these LCD screens, gamers can indulge in their favorite console gaming without even having to switch on their television sets. But, don’t you even expect HDTV like picture quality, realism or for that matter thumping sound from these little LCD screens. And if you are thinking that these add-ons make the PS3 and Wii portable gaming consoles like the PSP and the DS Lite, you are a little bit off target. You can lug around these consoles but to play on them, you do need to connect them to a power outlet. All in all, two nice little add-ons, at least for die-hard gamers.
