When I was a kid I used to keep a piggy bank for those hard times in life. Well I am out of that habit now, but still am a bit attracted to this digital piggy bank.

This digital piggy bank counts the coins and then displays the current savings on a LCD screen.
These hi-tech devices are developed by a Japanese company named Keian Corp.
The piggy bank can also identify the coins that you put into it. Though the technology is limited and the system can only scan Japanese currency ranging from 1 yen to 500 yen, the company should be planning to add couple of more currency types in the near future.
The piggy bank is available at a price of about $37.
