Pigeons hacked to carry data
After hacking cell-phones and computers some Chinese researchers have hacked Pigeons so that they can be tamed to carry data easily and quickly.

The researchers at the Robot Research Center at the Shandong university of Science and Technology in Qingdao, China have implanted some chips in the head of a pigeon which makes them easily and effectively navigate pigeons to a desired location with a remote control.

The implant makes the controller give commands to the pigeon to take off, hover, fly forward and turn left or right.
The instructions are delivered to the brain of the pigeon through a microcontroller and controller board implant in the top of the head of the pigeon. Pigeons don't feel any pain in their head so there is no problem in implanting it.

After implanting the chips in the head of the pigeon, they can be controlled via a remote control and even a small payload such as a 4GB card with lots of data on it can be easily transported.
