Pics leaked of a forthcoming Rocketfish tablet from Best Buy

We wouldn’t fool you by saying we’d seen this coming, because the news is equally a surprise to us as it is for anyone of you. But we’d give it up to Best Buy for entering the tablet bandwagon with a Rocketfish tablet. Two well polished images of the forthcoming tablet have been revealed in Twitter updates by Best Buy CTO Robert Stephens.

The comparatively large form factor of the tablet, as seen in the pics, suggests of a 9-inch tablet, but as for the previous claims by the CTO, the tablet is expected to be smaller than the iPad but built-in with a new Android 2.2. Because it is difficult to be certain of anything as of now, there are also reports that if HP is making the Rocketfish tablet, then it could also use either of webOS or Windows 7. There is no real info on the specs, price or availability of the device yet, therefore stay tuned for more.
