If you stress your mind, you may recall TI’s Consumer Electronic show last year where a device, Pico Projector made its first public appearance.
Yes, they talked about a laser projector small enough to get embed inside your mobile. Of course, it was somewhat difficult to believe that your images, videos, or any content can be made watch able onto a nearby surface, such as a wall, whiteboard, desktop or even your friend’s face.
They dreamt of a prototype with ultra-miniature full-color digital projection display and now Microvision in collaboration with Motorola Mobile Devices is ready with one.
Without much word on their agreement, both companies are keen to deliver a cell phone by using new WVGA, 854 x 480 pixel wide angle scanner for big screen viewing.
For a cheaper availability, Light emitting diodes with low thermal sense will best suit the project.
Not that cheaper, Pico Projector is likely to appear in high-end mobile sets hopefully till next year.
So take care. Somebody may use your back as display screen.
