HyperSpace is a layer on top of the BIOS capable of running specialized core services side-by-side with Windows and frees you from those lengthy yawning startup periods. It's like playing DVD on multimedia without booting the whole window. Next-generation new HyperSpace platform paves the way for one-click remote system maintenance, repair, lower battery consumption and embedded security, content such as instant-on multi-media players, IP soft phones, email, instant messaging, Web 2.0 browsing, safe shopping etc.

Phoenix prototype of this kind has already been tested and hopes to find a way into laptops within the next six to nine months whereas, second half of 2008 may witness openness to consumers.
