While many others are busy trying to make the screens extra gigantic or extra small, Philips has something different in mind as they are reported to have filed a patent for developing displays by using ‘fur.’ The displays would be made of a piece of fabric covered with hair-like strands rather than using LEDs or any other existing technology. With many pixels, it would be possible to create a furry display that can illustrate complete images. The new fury displays can be used for making TVs that are soft to touch. Moreover, the technology can be employed to stuff displays into the clothing.
