The use of a compass for directions has been outpaced by GPS, yet the former hasn’t lost its relevance just completely, for it still can be a source of design inspiration for its successor. With this insight, designer Kyle Fleischhacker churned out the PathQuest GPS concept. Nothing actually realistic about the smart device, but it lives up to the viable requirements of the gadgetry today. Housing an efficient E Ink display, which costs less on the battery, a reason enough for the green-hooded to pocket the device. The highly portable PathQuest relies on Google Maps for navigation, a welcome manifestation of modern applications in the design. How far is it an ideal preposition is for you to decide, but my guess says, there are feasibilities of it making the cut of substance.
