The nigh grim word Panzer presents to us a very vivid picture of an implacable battalion of boisterous German tanks rolling by the dirty grey fields of war-stricken Europe. As a matter of fact Panzer means 'armor' in German, and thus its allusion to those heavily armored military forces during Second World War. Now, coming back to the present context, German designer Nik Nowak has artistically and rather adroitly contrived a fully fledged mobile sound system (with a working continuous track belt) that fascinatingly resembles a futuristic version of a Panzer tank from outside.

Touted as the Panzer 'Sound-tank', the one seat vehicle (for the disc jockey) certainly maintains the same essence of robustness, normally associated with those 40's steel monsters. But instead of some rancorous gun barrel system, the conception has a whopping 11 speakers bedecking its turret. The turret is fully flexible, and it actually acts as a sheltering component (which can be opened) for all the sound related circuitry on the inside.

The seating arrangement for the driver/disc jockey is incorporated in the rear section of the hefty contraption. This allows the driver full view of the surrounding, while driving or plying his/her 'musical' trade around busy city corners. So, all in all - the portability factor is certainly an advantage, but mobility fused with uniquely potent styling makes the Sound-tank a real winner.
