Panasonic stuffs 3D Viera RT2B TVs with Blu-ray, HDD recorder

3D TVs are steadily gaining features to make real entities in contention for the market that has a great scope for them. Latest addition that makes my eyes go bright is a Blu-ray recorder inclusion to 3D Viera RT2B plasma TVs by Panasonic. Panasonic may be in the league behind Samsung and LG when it comes to 3D TV technology for now, but this new twist would certainly send the big guns back to their drawing boards. The new 3D Viera RT2B TV besides providing a perfect 3D experience using active glasses, will also see a HDD recorder built-in, and would let users record TV programs and burn them to Blu-ray disc on demand. There is no word on price of the TV sets, but it’s learnt that 3D Viera RT2B will be available in 46-inch and 42-inch sizes, with 46-inch version tentatively priced at about $5100.
