Panasonic launching a Dozen LCD and PDP's
Now as we are seeing TV's getting flatter and sleeker by the day, Panasonic is all set to launch not one or two but a full dozen of LCD/PDP TVs. These TVs scheduled to be launched in April are all set to capitalise on this year's Beijing Olympics. Traditionally, Mega events like the Olympic's see TVs flying off shop shelves in a frenzy and Panasonic sees this as a huge opportunity to sell its LCD and PDP TVs. The PDP TVs have an amazing contrast ratio of 30000:1 and the LCD's have a contrast ratio of 10000:1 making both these platforms high definition and what's more, these idiot boxes are going to beam ever crisper and clearer life like images. The PDPs have Tripled contrast ratios for very sharp images and also feature a colour enhancing technology which adds upto 130% colour, making the colours more life-like. Anti Blur technology on the LCDs will make blurring due to horizontal movement of images a thing of the past as the images are continously analysed and the Cold cathode flourescent tubes keep modifying the image continously to prevent blurring.

These TVs can also be connected to hard disks to record your favourite olympic moments for your enjoyment. The customer now has very rich pickings to choose from this summer, and now that Panasonic has managed to ignite the spark, expect a full blown flurry of HDTV's being launched by the Japanese giants like Sony and Sharp.
And now the sucker punch, according to sources, the price of these HDTVs have taken huge cuts to make these previously expensive gadgets more affordable.
