Panasonic Jungle portable gaming console to play online games on the move

The gaming market is all clogged by the goodness of Sony and Nintendo with the likes of iPhone and iPod biting on to their share steadily. Though it may not have a footing on the platform just yet, but Panasonic is making a solid claim in the “Jungle” – the first portable gaming console designed for online gaming and MMORPGs. The handheld mimicking a tiny PC for online prowess features a QWERTY keyboard and in the clamshell design has a wonderful high-resolution display besides a d-pad and shoulder buttons you’d expect in a gaming console.

There’s no real information on what sits inside the little device, which would keep the damn thing powerful, but it is learned that the screen is a wonder and it’s a great experience to play those MMORPGs on it that you’d only had the chance to play at home on the PC, etc. The HDMI port, micro USB ports, 3.5mm jack and Wi-Fi are expected in the console, while 3G inclusion is a wild guess. The Panasonic Jungle runs Linux OS, so if you play games like the World of Warcraft, which don’t run on Linux you may just be wondering what the heck, but I think Panasonic will definitely have alternatives for that.
