Though Panasonic offers gadget lovers with something new each new day, it has just recently come up with its Toughbook UMPC. The murmurs at CeBIT in March have finally boomed aloud as Panasonic would be using Atom-based brand from Intel. I definitely look forward to view its touch-sensitive 5.6- inch screen, lay my hand on compact QWERTY keypad, a variety of ports, and a rock solid chassis. Did you notice it would be having a wireless, a webcam, and a barcode reader? As of now, it’ll run Windows Vista only. This CF-U1 Toughbook is entirely shockproof, and has Intel Atom chip (at 1.33GHz). Really impressive is the battery life of around 6-8 hours that allows you the freedom of carrying it with you sans any worries. Due for a release in August, this gadget is priced at $2,500.
