Seems we are caught in the crazy yet colorful world of standard-definition, with the whole new line of compact camcorders delivered our way by Panasonic, and if we are with CES then, we are in for a lot more. Panasonic has revealed SDR-SW21, SDR-S15 and SDR-S26 at CES. The Panasonic SDR-S26 is the first 70x optical zoom camcorder with Advanced Optical Image Stabilization, Face Detection and VideoCam software, relying on the SD card, and should be available at a price tag of about $330 sometime by April. The Panasonic SDR-SW21 and SDR-S15 feature Intelligent Auto mode and a 0.6 second Quick Start function, and also have the VideoCam software embedded to keep you up with the S26, and should cost around $400 and $300 respectively.
