We all woke to an all new transition is transportation, when Terrafugia Transition flying car made its maiden flight. Taking off the road into thick air with slight modulation, it’s now a three-wheeled fantasy PAL-V One taking to the skies in Holland, in event sending use ever more closer to living the reality of roadable airplanes.

The test version of the PAL-V One making its first public appearance now, has been in the works for over six years, and according to the inventor, John Bakker and the company, it is the "first Personal Air and Land Vehicle (PAL-V) available for anybody." Canceling out the very statement, Dutch Minister of Traffic Safety and Water Affairs, Camiel Eurlings, also part of the project, says – the vehicle isn’t a solution for traffic congestion, and isn’t all public flying car but an alternative to helicopters which can be used in case of emergencies.

What’s in the PAL-V One?

Based in combination with Dutch Co. Carver, on the concept of a self-balancing three-wheeled hybrid motorcycle car with autogyro, the PAL-V uses a free-spinning rotor to lift and separate propeller to propel it forward. On road the rotor of the vehicle can be folded on top of its roof allowing the car to zip at about 120 mph, and reach up to heights of 4,000 feet in air when the car’s flying at speeds of 90 mph. So get your pilot's license out and get set to fly the PAL-V and take you skills and transportation to a new high.
