The Pagani Zonda C12 S has been an automobile icon since 2000 and even a decade later, it still makes heads turn wherever it sets its wheel. Designed initially by the former 5-time world champion Juan Manuel Fangio, the Pagani Zonda re-invented itself in the last decade. The famous Argentine and arguably the one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time 9along with Ayrton Senna & Michael Schumacher) might have put plenty of effort behind the design, but Firas Abu-Jaber seems to have put fair bit of work himself in designing the LEGO version.

The Pagani Zonda C12 S (the real thing) 7,010 cc AMG-tuned engine that allows it to race from 0 to 60 in just 3.7 seconds and to 100mph in 7.5 seconds, while topping off at 210mph. More than the performance, it is its sexy design, vivacious curves and stunning aerodynamics that have floored car lovers ever since its launch. Considering all that, making a LGO mockup version of it is a pretty tough task.
And Firas has done a brilliant job at making the little thing function and open up as well as the real deal with the doors, hood and the trunk all popping out just like in the case of the Zonda C12 S on road. In what is no doubt an amazing work of art, the interiors also seem stunningly similar and the detailing is hard to ignore.
Making a LEGO version of the Zonda C12 S might have been much more difficult than making the one in the automobile factory. Considering only 15-20 of these cars are made each year and is priced at $350,000, we may have to well live with just the mini-versions like these in the display…
