OutSourced wearable system is a crowdsourced stressbuster

Posted By: Bharat BhushanSharma | May 27 2009

The new age of wearable technology has caught up with the latest trend on the internet. Developed by a group of students at MIT, the Stress OutSourced is a networked wearable system (jacket) that allows the user to communicate anonymously and with friends over the social network sites. Delivering therapeutic massages, with the use of the SOS, a stressed individual can send message across to the social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook, wherefrom the users respond to the individual’s queries and problems.

The team of Carnaven Chiu, Xiao Xiao, Keywon Chung, and Peggy Chi has succeeded in developing a system that to an extent relieves confused and strained people helping them find remedies for their troubles over anonymous messaging and response, thereby reviving a new genre in peer-to-peer networking in haptic social networking.

If you have a stress of some kind and are looking for a very personal sharing, then start building your social network so that if and when the Stress OutSourced is made real you have no reasons to try it out.
