The most tiring thing in the world is having to wait for a device to complete its task. With the introduction of the Riso-developed ORPHIS X9050, you can breathe a sigh of relief — when it comes to waiting for printouts at least. Every printer has its own traits that put it in its own league, from applications to speeds, form re-writing pages to just anything you could rack your brains on. Printing 150 color copies per minute is what Riso and their business partners Olympus claim the ORPHIS X9050 can achieve — a feature, if believed, that makes their X Series printer the world’s fastest color photocopier.

Price and Availability:

Coming in two versions - the X9050 costs $46,000 while the lesser version with 120 copies per minute printing capability, and the ORPHIX X7250 will retail for about $10,000. No word on the availability.

Watch this:

The X Series is targeted for the big businesses. And if you run one, or are a part of any – these printers of the jet age may be a solution to one of your problems. We are all ears when it comes to the maker’s claims, and would be seeking a trip to the east, when the printers are released in February next year in Japan.
