One of the most-anticipated gadgets of the year, the LG Watch Phone will be out to lure the UK public in August, courtesy of providers Orange. The price is unspecified yet, but according to the web claims, the world’s first touchscreen Dick Tracy watch phone (hope we have the liberty to say that) will be provided on a pay-as-you-go scheme, or SIM-only, for £1,000 (about $1,600). Coupled with a Bluetooth headset, video-calling capabilities and HSDPA internet for high-speed web browsing, the phone also allows users to make video calls, play MP3 files and turn text to speech, all from their wrist.
