Onda has made public its latest portable media player the VX777. This one’s built on the lines of Onda VX767 but comes with WiFi and internet radio and perhaps may even incorporate a touch-screen. Onda VX777 boasts of a 4.2” color TFT which has a resolution of 480 X 272. It is perhaps the first MP3 player from China that touts WiFi. Other than that it is a standard issue PMP and provides all the features that other players out there do. It features 3000mAh battery, which provides for 30 hrs of audio and 10 hrs of video playback. VX777 has support for nearly all the major formats except OGG. The PMP is fitted with a built-in speaker and also features TV-our connection. As for the other specs, the list goes something like this:
• Supports TF card up to 32GB
• Built-in Speaker, MIC and FM radio
• Supports MP3, WMA, WAV and flack music formats
• Directly plays RM/RMVB, AVI, FLV, ASF, MP4, MPG, MOV, WMA, WMV, 3GP and SWF movies
• Supports JPEG, BMP, GIF and PNG picture formats
• Lyric synchronization function
• Seven EQ modes
• Multi-languages
• Playlist function
• Built-in games
• E-book function
• Re-play a selected music or movie clip function
• Firmware upgradeable
• USB 2.0 high-speed data transmission
• 2GB to 16GB built-in Samsung flash memory available
• Compatible with Windows and Macintosh OS

It is easy to see that Onda VX777 has all the features that one could have possibly hoped for. Now if only touch-screen functionality is incorporated till its release later this August we’d have a near perfect gadget to look forward to.
