OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) is a non-profit organization that has dedicated itself to the cause of children’s education in the developing countries. As part of their 'Give 1, Get 1' scheme, the company is now promising the tantalizing prospect of a dual-touchscreen laptop that will sell for under $100. all set for a 2010 launch, the yummy double-display laptop is called OLPC XO-2 and can be used in traditional laptop orientation with an on-screen keyboard, as a single seamless interface or even as an e-book with a hinge running down the middle. Folded up, the petite laptop is the size of a regular book and OLPC aim to have it run on only 1 watt of electricity. But the most interesting part of this whole project is that the firm is aiming to sell the sweet, sweet laptop for just $75 a pop come August, and when you get one for yourself, you also get one donated to an underprivileged child in a third-world country. Wow! Philanthropy never came this cheap!
