The One Laptop Per Child organization seems to have dumped the laptop vision, to market upon the lately spur rage of the tablets. Nicholas Negroponte, founder of One Laptop Per Child, has announced that their non-profit organization will build the next generation of sub $100 tablets based on the Marvell’s dirt cheap dual mode LCD Mobi tablet design we saw a few month ago. Negroponte further stated that the first prototype of the XO-3 tablet (supposedly) could debut at the CES 2011, in a more Moby-like avatar with glass screen, ARM processor and run Android OS. Which the organization plans to modify with their own custom OS and a more XO-like look in the final version of the tablet which is being guessed to cost about $75 only. Head below for a video of the announcement.
