OLPC set to introduce multitouch input to the upcoming XO-1.75

The OLPCs are there but they haven’t made the mark for which they are there, perhaps to change this engineers at OLPC are expected to be releasing an updated Sugar OS to provide touchscreen and multitouch input to the upcoming OLPC XO-1.75. The MeeGo on-screen (virtual) keyboard has already been completed with Sugar by Sayamindu Dasgupta, while the future of OLPC tablets (XO-3) gear up for the multitouch input. The XO-1.75 will share the same original XO-1 design with convertible screen, with an open codebase controller.
