The OLPC laptops, which are designed for children in order to revolutionize the way the children are educated all around the world, are being used to look at the naked beauties. Well, the Nigerian students who received laptops from a U.S. aid organization have used the new OLPC XOs to explore porn on the Internet. The news was reported by official News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). They cited:
Efforts to promote learning with laptops in a primary school in Abuja have gone awry as the pupils freely browse adult sites with explicit sexual materials.
Is this what governments are looking to achieve with the OLPC laptops? Anyway, NAN officials are saying that the computers will now be installed with filters. Why didn’t they do that earlier?
