NVIDIA has revealed the consumer version of its Quad SLI component card - the GeForce 7950 GX2 with two GPUs and two sets of memory chips. The GeForce 7950 GX2A plugs into a single PCI Express slot and equips a 500MHz G71 graphics processor, 512MB of memory, and a low-profile cooler.



The powerful and compact 9.5″ graphics card ensures impeccable performance with memory chips running at 600MHz, almost double RAM per GPU and full HDCP support. The dual-GPU arrangement ensures high-bandwidth communication between both GPU and the rest of the system and deliver fast data transfers between the GPUs. The card will soon be available for around $599 to $649.
