Learning music is constant fun, yet the added comfort of a combination of touch, sight and hearing can always be an added advantage in making the theory process fun and entertaining. This Noteput table by designers Jonas Heuer and Jürgen Graef is an interactive musical device done for the purpose.

The Noteput with a tabletop screen allows the user to place physical music notes on it, which are translated into music by the projection screen and the note value is displayed at the bottom of the screen, making the learning of musical notation interesting. Placing of the required notes on the staves in a musical sequence, results in the output of an associated sound when the play button is pressed. Looping in the notes, the table can be used to play music as would result from a variety of musical instruments including piano, guitar, flute, vibraphone or e-piano.
