Nokia N9 and MeeGo Tablet to be unveiled at MWC
The upcoming Mobile World Congress, which will be held in Barcelona in mid-February, will witness some stunning smartphones and tablets. The much-awaited Nokia N9 is expected to be unveiled at the international event by Stephen Elop, CEO of Nokia, on February 16. The successor to Nokia N8 will be one of the first smartphones to boast of the new MeeGo software. Equipped with 1.2GHz Intel Atom processor, the Nokia N9 will be one of the fastest smartphones from the workshop of the Finnish cellphone maker. According to Prosessori, a Finnish technology website, the upcoming Nokia smartphone will flaunt a 12-megapixel camera and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

To know about the other specifications of Nokia N9, you have to wait until Nokia reveals the smartphone in Barcelona. Besides the Nokia N9, visitors to the Mobile World Congress will be introduced to MeeGo-powered tablet PCs. However, it is unclear whether the Nokia MeeGo tablet will be unveiled during the event. MeeGo is a Linux-based open software platform developed jointly by Intel and Nokia. The software amalgamates the best features of the Maemo and Moblin platforms.
