Nokia N-Gage for a revamp

The news is that the Nokia gaming phone, N-Gage has not done as good as it was expected to do. Top executives of the company have recently admitted that the company has just sold a third of what Nokia had aimed for. When it was launched back in 2002, Nokia said it would sell 6 million N-Gages worldwide by this month. They have barely been able to sell 2 million handsets.

There is hope for the N-Gage yet, not because Nokia insists its central to its future plans but because the N-Gage will be changing into a platform for other Nokia smartphones. The smartphones in question would be the 6-strong N-Series which were recently bolstered by the addition of the TV-playing N92.
