Happy with the Nokia - Microsoft partnership? Probably we can only comment on that when we actually see the WP7-Nokia mobile hitting store shelves. Of course, in the meantime we can hang on to plenty of other news coming in from Nokia and this one talks about the possibility of a N8-like tablet from the mobile giant.

It would make logical sense for Nokia to try and find its feet in the tablet market and with its partnership with Microsoft; they now have the software prowess to go along with their existing awesome hardware. A bit of digging at the United States Patent and Trademark Office has revealed that Nokia applied for the patent of a tablet design that looked like the evolution of N8. But that seems to be a MeeGo device whose idea has been shelved after the tie up with Microsoft.
Despite that, there is also a second patent-pending tablet design from Nokia that is waiting in the wings and this one looks more like your iPad, Xoom and Playbook in its basic form. Obviously the intent from Nokia is clear. They wish to step in to the tablet market before it is too late and competition already is way ahead of them. 2011/2012 will be a good time to start for Nokia, no doubt.
