This super-futuristic remote control concept by a Dutch design student can help you control your TV without having to touch the remote. Perfect for when your hands may be dirty while cooking, gardening or fine-tuning your car, the no-touch remote lets you adjust volume by moving your hand over or under it. To change channels you will have to flick a finger through the cavity in the middle, to turn the TV off, you will have to make two fingers meet in the middle of the cavity, and to turn it back on, you’ll have to part two fingers the same way. Sounds a bit complicated but it could really be handy when you have your hands covered in tomato pulp, dirt or grease. Check out a demo of the cool remote after the jump.
