Nintendo announces glasses-free 3D DS game console [Updated]

With this now we’ll say the three dimensional world is upon us. Nintendo has brought it to us sooner than expected, the 3D Nintendo DS, man I going all bonkers already. The best part of the announcement is that the Nintendo’s new DS console wouldn’t require the crazy 3D glasses that could have been a put off for most gamers out there. The 3DS, as the new portable game console is called, would play 3D content but will also be made to play titles created for the regular versions of the DS. Nintendo would tell us more on the 3DS at the E3 games show in June, while the console itself is expected to debut sometime in 2011.
