Too much is not enough when it comes to the controllers that are associated with Nintendo’s Wii. Even if we were not to count the third-party stuff, we have plenty bearing the “official” tag. Add to that list the Classic Controller PRO. The Japanese website of Nintendo has put up images of what seems an adaptation of a NES controller; actually the Classic Controller has been endowed with some extra buttons and better hand grips. Clad in all-white, the PRO seems an offering that will please serious gamers. Although it is too early to say, the controller does look a bit short on finishing. The device draws power from the Wii-mote and has larger Z-buttons. There’s no official word on a release date or pricing as yet. Ign is betting on a release later this year (outside Japan) at a price of about 25 bucks. We’ll confirm that as more information comes out from the camp.
