Bigger the image sensor better is the image quality. That must have been the general rule we should have had in mind. Now, to keep that simple and outrightly straight, Nikon has introduced the Nikon D3S, first DSLR that captures near high-def videos using a full-frame image sensor. Yes, a full frame 36 x 23.9mm CMOS image sensor, so do we need to worry about the image quality with this? Ok you want to wait to see how images clicked with it would actually turn out, fair enough.

I say near high-definition because the 12.1-megapixel camera, the D3S, only shoots at 720p @ 24fps, which by no comparison is full HD. There are many cameras that give us videos in HD now, but we leans that none can be compared to the quality of the professional grade D3S. Stuffed with an algorithm to minimize the effect of rolling shutter, autofocus and HDMI output, the D3S is expected to be available in late November for an estimated $5,199.95.
