Nikon Media Port UP: Multi-task viewer in a headset

We know what Nikon is renowned for, because we’ve seen a lot through those pictures clicked from a Nikon camera. Times have changed, and keeping pace with the evolution we will now see our favorite videos on the personal multi-tasking viewer from Nikon. If you actually don’t want any trespassers to know what you are watching, it may be time to switch to this Wi-Fi enabled Media Port UP headset, with a retro headset makeover it is in actuality an adjustable 0.44-inch, 640 x 480 transmissive LCOS display for viewing videos and images.

Available in tow models, the UP300x UP300, the motion sensor controlled, Media Port UP tenders a 50-inch large screen on a 3 meter distance giving the viewer a perfect viewing solution. Offering an ultimate hands-free viewing experience, the UP300x has 8GB of internal storage capacity while the base model UP300 is only 4GB.

The UP300x connects to portable A/V devices, such as cellphones and audio players, through an output terminal. The headset’s screen is a result of new adhesion double-layer diffractive optical element (DOE) lens which use diffraction to change the direction of light instead of reflection. Weighing 385g and powered by AA batteries, the headset also has a multi selector placed outside on the year cup for a single hand control, which has four buttons on the dial to help the viewer enjoy the best possible videos with simplest control.
