On seeing a camera fitted to a rifle stock, it is very easy for a photographer to contemplate why someone would choose a rifle stock to mount a camera. Stability in shooting with cameras has never been perfect and he would agree; therefore there is nothing better than employing the ergonomics and inherent stability of firearms to a camera in an effort to overcome those unwanted blurs. Thus this Miso Beno Heavy Industries made Tactical Assault Long Range Camera Stock or TALCs is one modular camera setup that’s sure to sell with the paparazzi and wildlife photographers.

Nikon D200 on a rifle stalk is great combo of a weapon’s modularity with conventional camera’s abilities that even transforms well for a left-handed photographer’s needs. The rifle camera uses three-contact switches activated in two stages of trigger movement. First pull of the trigger activates the auto focus, while the final pull activates the shutter to click images in low light conditions as well.

The camera installation with two sling attachment and one sling stud for Harris Bipod has a horizontal grip which is good to track those moving objects and capturing them to perfection as the distortion in the images due to motion are minimized with the added stability.

1. It is Rifle STOCK...not stalk.
Can’t you guys ever get that right?
2. That thing is DANGEROUS as hell. As a professional photographer who shoots in war zones...carry that around and you are dead.
’war zone’ nothing, you’ll get shot by cops for that. And then the jury will acquit them (like that PA state trooper who was just found ’not guilty’ for vehicular homiciding two sisters in a minivan).
