Niko: Nokia N900 powered Twitter-controlled LEGO robot

Posted By: Bharat BhushanSharma | Mar 19 2010

The most hackable Nokia N900 is out to impress with Niko, a Twitter-controlled robot. Mounted on the head of the robot and with a specially created account, the phone is used to receive commands from a twitter account on to the LEGO Mindstorm NXT 2.0 robot’s account, @N900Niko. Using twitter for commands, Niko can move around the room, click photos from its N900’s 5-megapixel camera and then post them on to Twitter in Twitpic form. The Niko is part of Nokia’s PUSH N900 competition in the US and I know you wouldn’t want to miss a demo of the robot, so with adieu, hit the jump to see the video.
